Xfinity Hyperlocal

Project

Xfinity started a Hyperlocal campaign in Chicago where they wanted the locals to see them, not just as another internet provider, but one that belongs to their community. They set up several activations with different Kiosk interactions that would appeal to the area. This specific Kiosk was created more for entertainment in the space of Xfinity representatives with current and potential clients.

On the Kiosk, consumers would choose their music genre (Hip Hop, Pop, Rock & House), then use the 55" touch screen to create their own sample. The left record continuously played music from the chosen genre, while right record allowed you to 'scratch' by moving it up and down with your fingers. They could also add predefined sounds and effects with the various buttons on the screen.
